There will be no spring update - confirmed by microsoft's Major Nelson on his podcast. Instead there will be a new feature which allows you (mainly for people with more than 1 360) to store all of your lisences you bought (when you buy stuff with ms points you get to lisences - one that lets you play it on a specific gamertag and one that lets you play it on a specific box) this new feature would allow you to store all lisences on one single console. Thats what i heard but if someone could confirm this that woud be good. IMO no one really owns 2 consoles and people would have prefered an update. Anyway we will see how this turns out

I would much rather have a cool update. I have two 360's (mainly for backup reasons), and never really buy stuff off the marketplace except pics and themes.

I was hoping for an update that perhaps everyone with a single working 360 could use. Oh well, Microsoft makes up for it with a killer lineup of games coming in the near future.
