Your other question: Capturing video usually takes up your memory pretty quickly and eventually builds to your HD when saving and storing clips. Just use whichever system has more RAM, HD space, and a faster CPU speed.

Checking your RAM isnt gonna help. But if you want to find out go to Start>>Control Panel>>Performance and Maintinence>>See basic info about your computer.
