Flick it:
It is the new, innovated controls for skating. You use the right analog stick and literally "flick it" in directions which symbollizes your feet. So to do and ollie, you bring it down then up, to do a manual, you bring it a little to the top or bottom. And so forth and so on, you can figure out tricks, but you do not to unlock them. What happens though is that at the beginning, you aren't good enough to do a huge ollie which makes sense. The game sticks with realism and makes it fun. Really great game to play.

i am not sure that it would fit into the game doing manual tircks but it could i guess

ya that really would make it to much like TH and I don't think it would flow to well with the game. What I do think they should have though, lets say you went of a Mega Ramp. If you did a kick flip, and hit the grab button, you should be able to grab the board while it's in the air, then put it under you. Idk, just something that I was messing with and though of. But the major thing they need is to revamp the AI of the pedestrains. OMFG they get in the way. They don't even try to move at all. If they fixed that for skate 2, I would be so much happier, cuz I always hit them in the middle of a line. Other than that I give this game a....


8.5/10 just cuz how much the people walking around piss me off!!!

But it is EA's first skateboarding game, we should keep that in mind
