Read it and weep! rockbandstore.com confirms that Rock Band 2 will ship September 14th and the Special addition will ship on October 19th! You can't really argue with that. I guess there is always the possibility that they could just change it without notice..

To re-enforce the date, some retail person has sent 1up photographic evidence of the company's computer showing September 14th as the release date! Check that story out HERE.
