Harmonix graces us all with another trailer. It's a great song to play and it looks like a ton of fun but what's with the randon guitarist on top of a castle at the :40 second mark?

Eh, GH: WT is going to be better. I used to think RB 2 was going to be better, but it's not. That song does look fun to play. And I know that song. Anyway, I'm going to buy GHWT w/ all the instruments. Then I'll buy just the RB 2 game w/o the instruments.

Pff, RB:2 will blow GH:WT out of the water.

Anyways, I didn't think this particular trailer had a great feel to it, they could have made it much better, still gonna love the game though. :)

GHWT will have a song creator and you can download other's songs. So you can put any song on there. Plus, have you seen the guitar? You're going to be able to slide and tap on the guitar. The drums look great and so does the bass. I do like the feel of RB/RB 2 a lot better.

Stupid RB fan :P. But seriously, i agree with grenader. GHWT has so much more to do, plus the drums and guitar are way better.

I really can't decide. It's practically a flip of the coin for me. I almost always play as the drummer, and since I like the feel of the RB drum line, then I might just go with RB(i'm talking about the squares and bright visible bass line). On the flip side, I can put any song I want on onto my hard drive and create a song with it. That is so legit. I can put all the Radiohead and Yes I want on there... It's too tough.

My opinion on GH:WT so far: The graphics still look odd, the song creator is a bad idea, i can picture it now, a bunch of random constant button mashing buttons for guitars and drums, the character creator in my opinion looks terrible

My opinion on Rock Band 2 so far: It looks rather promising, minus the amount of songs with high-hats that i can never do well, the character creator is gonna have more accessories and such, and this one looks better than GH:WT's one, you'll be able to get all your DLC from Rock Band to Rock Band 2, Harmonix is gonna see about getting all the On-Disk songs in Rock Band into Rock Band 2, the fact that i can put logos on my instruments and characters is awesome, whereas GH:WT may not let you do that, songs in this game are charted perfectly, maybe a few mess ups here and there, maybe, i never noticed any though, they're updating the GUI's, more awesome screen effects will happen during songs, i loved the motion blur ones

Also, Activision is flooding the markets with Guitar Heros, have they heard of DLC? They should try DLC instead of dedicating a game at a time to a certain band, the only difference IS the band the game is based on, so they could just use DLC

My rant is over, REMEMBER, this is my OPINION, so if this bugs you, oh well, that's just how i feel about this :/

The one really cool thing about the song creator on GHWT, and not many people know this, is that you can download other peoples created song(s). It will kind of be like forge, where you can download other peoples maps, except their is this one place in the game you can go and all the created songs will be there by name or highest rating or something.

But i dont think every created song will be there. Theres probably an option after you create a song to "publish" it to live or something.
